Philip Nash – Potter
Philip deliberately produces pots which display the naiveté and robustness of working items rather than more delicate show items. His pots all feature sturdiness, exemplifying durability and resilience and his main decorative feature is to give a ‘chattered’ exterior. His glazes are normally functional rather than ornamental although they are not recommended for foodstuffs.
Philip’s work will be on display in St Mary Magdalen.
